I cannot say this about any other restaurant in Savannah and I am known for being hard to please. The food at La Xalapena is fresh, honest, simple, spectacular. It's extraordinarily UNDERpriced. Two people can be STUFFED for 25$ including tip. They do not serve alcohol, but that's not why you came here; you came for the food. If you want crappy margaritas and greasy, sub par Mexican, then go to those...other places. If you like spice, please don't forget to ask for a selection of their house made salsas. The jalapeno and avocado salsa is 100% addicting. Please give them a try and give them business! We need La Xalapena in Savannah. Best of luck to them!!March 17, 2017
