  On Friday March 10th my daughter and I were on vacation in Savannah Georgia from Tampa Florida we decided to go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. I have eaten at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse all over the country I used to travel extensively.
  We were cordially seated at a nice corner table our beverages were brought to the table and we ordered dinner, I ordered the petite filet with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes my daughter ordered the salmon with broccoli.
  The food came to the table I noticed the creamed spinach was dark not burnt but dark, old, my steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare but it was over peppered and over-salted I don't mind that, that much but it definitely was compared to other stores, the mashed potatoes and the broccoli were fine.
  My daughter's salmon was season nicely she began eating on the thinnest Edge in.
  She noticed it seemed a little undercooked she was hungry so she eat around the edges and left the center which was clearly Raw.
  No wait staff until Josh the manager came by asked how the food was, he noticed the salmon was raw, and we pointed it out Josh, asked if he wanted us to have it put under the broiler for a few more minutes, we refused stating we were not hungry anymore and he asked me how my steak was, I told him my steak was great no problem and he said okay thank you and walked away. I thought wow this is Ruth Chris this isn't Chili's this is Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
  Expecting the salmon to be pulled from the bill.
  The waiter came by, we asked him to box up the remainder of the food minus the Samon of course, that was still sitting there on her plate, he said Josh would like to buy you a free dessert we said we were full so he put a cheesecake in the to-go bag for us.
  This is my complaint:
  I expect Perfection from Ruth Chris Steakhouse, I hold them to a higher standard, I expected the salmon to be to be perfect or at least removed from the bill and I expected the chef to come out and apologize. when you pay that kind of money you hold them to a higher standard. And just a note, the 6” cheese cake in an aluminum tin, like from Costco, not good. Fine diners want a nice piece of NY style cheese cake with their choice of toppings. I would not return to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Savannah Georgia.
  My 14 year old daughter's first fine dining experience at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse was not a good one. She said, dad don’t waste your money again.

  Best steak I've ever had had hands down!! Be prepared to pay $150-$200 a couple. Sides are shareable so don't order to many. My husband and I are often able to split a 16 oz ribeye and two sides. It's a pretty big steak and they will Split it and plate it for you before it comes out. Filet is amazing also.
