Reviews about Savannah Riverboat Cruises
- 5 / 5By Jennifer HamiltonA perfect afternoon! The tour was great. The guide had a lot of knowledge and a good voice. The lunch was also better than I expected for a buffet. The fried chicken was amazing and the shrimp and grits were great. I would recommend the lunch cruise so you can see all of the sights in the daylight. Not a ton of outdoor seating but there were enough sights that most people ended up standing anyway.May 09, 2017
- 1 / 5By Corwin BurrowesAs a repeated customer, I am so upset. The music was very standard. It was no variety at all! Straight classical! Everyone in my section was sleep! Literally! Paid almost $300 for this event and I regret it. There wasn't a nice selection of food either. I'm so dissatisfied! I will never spend my New Years here again!February 25, 2017
- 5 / 5By Norm RickardThe one thing I most looked forward to on my trip to Savanna hand I was not disappointed. The riverboat was clean and easy to get around on. They have a small snack bar for the sightseeing cruise that serves fun drinks at a reasonable price. I would suggest you add bottled water for those who don't drink. The sightseeing was amazing and it was topped by Captain John. He knows his Savannah river port and history. He kept us entertained for an hour and a half and taught us some interesting stuff. WHEN I come back to Savannah I will definitely be taking a cruise again.October 07, 2016
- 5 / 5By Larry StokesWe had a great time on this tour. It takes you up and down the river and provides a great narrative on the history of Savannah. I will qualify my 5 stars by saying that I am a history buff and truly enjoy hearing it told. That said, the content in the trip is a bit heavy, but you will learn about the various ships that harbor here, some of the history of the industries in the area, and a lot about the history of Savannah itself. If you are into Revolutionary War, Civil War, or maritime history, you'd definitely want to catch this tour during your visit.
The views alone are only so-so, but along with the great narration by the captain, it was well worth the money.August 29, 2016
